INTERNATIONAL SUMMER OPERA STUDIO 2025 is excited to bring together world-class artists to work with talented singers on a carefully curated repertoire. This unique programme offers an immersive experience, combining vocal training, language skills, performance mastery, and professional development, all under the guidance of internationally renowned experts in the field.

 

Throughout the course, professional singers will focus on enhancing their vocal technique with the exceptional opera singer and professor Diana Haller, who will provide expert guidance and personalized instruction. Additionally, singers will delve into Italian language and opera repertoire with Maestro Alessandro Cadario, the principal guest conductor of I Pomeriggi Musicali, who will help participants master the intricacies of this beautiful and demanding language in performance.

The performance aspect will be further refined with the talented Filip Fak, a distinguished pianist and the General Manager of the Zagreb Philharmonic. Under his tutelage, singers will work on honing their performance skills, preparing them for a captivating presentation of their chosen pieces.

The programme also emphasizes personal and professional growth, and on our Team Building Day, participants will have the unique opportunity to attend valuable workshops (via ZOOM) designed to support their career development. These sessions include "How to Build a Personal Brand" led by Matea Baraba, a Social Media, Content, and Marketing consultant who will provide key insights into how singers can present themselves in today’s competitive digital landscape. Additionally, a workshop on "How to Audition and How to Work with an Agency" will be led by an experienced music agent, offering practical advice for navigating the audition process and building successful relationships within the music industry focusing on how to prepare for auditions and how to choose the right agency to support your career as a singer.

Young opera singers and students will have the opportunity to work intensively over four days on refining their vocal technique and performance skills with the renowned coach Ana Majdak Fak. Throughout the workshop, participants will receive personalized guidance and participate in various exercises aimed at enhancing their vocal abilities and stage presence. At the end of the program, each participant will showcase their progress with a live performance on stage. In addition to the vocal training, participants will also enjoy a relaxing countryside trip, providing a perfect balance of hard work and leisure.
